Long-time heroin and crack users try to rebuild lives devastated by addiction and jail. The film follows 3 people leaving detox and entering a program that provides clean and sober housing, drug treatment and—most importantly—a recovery mentor who knows what it takes to stay clean and build a “normal life.” We witness day to day challenges of recovery, the heart-break of relapse, and life’s simple victories.
