Pennebaker’s document of Bob Dylan’s 1965 concert tour in the United Kingdom is, in essence, the first “Rock Doc”. Shot with intensity and immediacy the film stands a defining moment in young Dylan’s development as an icon.  1998, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.
