On January 1st, 1999, Caveh began a yearlong video diary, in which he shot one minute each day.  Over the course of a year, Caveh and his girlfriend Mandy attend readings by Czeslaw Milosz, John Ashbery (whose poem provided the film’s title), grapple with family emergencies and relationship challenges, and live through days when nothing happens at all.
