The Roxy Theater

Missoula’s film-culture heartbeat and community cinema, The Roxy Theater presents a wide array of indie, foreign and classic films as well as theater and community events. A local establishment since the late 1930s, The Roxy is also home to many educational programs and produces two indie film festivals in house.

Hellgate Elks Lodge Theater

One of many iconic early 20th Century buildings in Missoula, the Hellgate Elks Lodge has been host to myriad entertainment and community events for over a century. Just one block off the Higgins Avenue downtown artery, the Elks Lodge theater is in the center of the festival venue map featuring a captivating array of screenings and the filmmaker lounge. The "pop up" theater is located in the meeting room on the second floor - be sure to see a film here and check out the beautiful wall built by Home ReSource from repurposed materials, part of the BSDFF Towards Zero Waste Initiative. 

MCT Center for the Performing Arts

A state-of-the-art performing arts facility, the MCT is a thriving local theater presenting community theater, childrens theater, performing arts camps and traveling productions that tour internationally. Reimagined as a cinema for seven days of BSDFF 2018, MCT festival events include Schoolhouse Docs and the AudioDocs live listening event.
